Details of the Job/Internship

Frido is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in Pune. The role involves supporting corporate, commercial, and compliance-related legal work. The position includes contract drafting, legal research, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsels.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet contracts such as NDAs, MOUs, MSAs, Vendor Agreements, Service Agreements, and Sale/Purchase Agreements.
• Support corporate legal and commercial transactions.
• Handle real estate documentation, due diligence, title verification, and RERA-related matters, where applicable.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and advisories.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, including under the Companies Act, labour laws, and data protection laws.
• Coordinate with business, finance, compliance teams, and external legal counsels.
• Assist in policy drafting, internal governance documentation, and maintaining compliance trackers.
• Support litigation matters by coordinating with advocates, where required.

Eligibility

• BA LL.B / LL.B (LL.M preferred but not mandatory).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong contract drafting and review skills.
• Understanding of corporate and commercial laws.
• Basic exposure to compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Good legal research and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in a corporate law firm or in-house legal team is preferred.
• Exposure to real estate, compliance, or commercial contracts is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a structured corporate or in-house legal environment.
• Candidates open to relocation to Pune, if applicable.
