Details of the Job/Internship
Gehi & Associates is hiring a Legal Associate (MYLS) with experience of at least 2 years to join their office in a 100% remote setting.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive legal briefs and conduct in-depth case research.
- Interact with clients to gather all relevant information and documentation required for their cases.
- Assist clients via Zoom meetings with the completion of documents, affidavits, and forms.
- Schedule client appointments with attorneys and ensure case notes and documents are accurately updated.
- Audit personal case files to ensure timely mailing and completion of pending matters.
- Prepare assigned clients for upcoming legal interviews whenever required.
- Solicit reviews and referrals from clients following successful case outcomes.
- Submit all assignments for review and verify that the required client fees are paid.
- Provide training to new team members as necessary.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a legal role.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a 100% remote setting.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research and drafting briefs.
- Strong communication skills for client-facing Zoom consultations.
- Availability to start immediately.
- Flexibility to work during the 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST shift.
