The firm provides comprehensive immigration law services to clients across the United States and globally.
Details of the Job/Internship
Gehi & Associates is hiring a Legal Associate (MYLS) with at least 1 year of experience for a 100% remote role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare case briefs and conduct legal research.
- Interact with clients to collect relevant information and documents.
- Assist clients through Zoom meetings regarding documents, affidavits, and forms.
- Schedule client appointments with attorneys and update case notes.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of files.
- Audit cases to track pending work and completion timelines.
- Prepare clients for upcoming interviews, if required.
- Request reviews and referrals from satisfied clients.
- Submit assignments for review and ensure client fee payments.
- Train new team members, if required.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Good communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience in immigration law is preferred.
