Details of the Job/Internship
GGC Legal is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 0-3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on indirect tax and business law matters.
- Draft replies to show cause notices, appeals, and other regulatory communications.
- Stay updated with developments in laws and regulations, especially related to GST and other indirect taxes.
- Prepare legal opinions and provide practical legal advice to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, senior advocates, and consultants.
- Assist in hearings and coordinate with regulatory authorities when required.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation and case files.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (BA/BBA/B.Com. LL.B. Hons) or LL.M.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in legal research, drafting, or taxation matters.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, especially in taxation and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior exposure to taxation laws or business law is preferred.
