Details of the Job/Internship
GoQuant is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–3 years to join their remote team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and redline commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and licensing terms.
- Assist with corporate governance, entity restructuring, and cross-border documentation.
- Support HR documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, contractor agreements, and related policies.
- Review client onboarding documents, platform terms, and internal policy updates.
- Coordinate with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions as required.
- Maintain organized documentation, version control, and contract records.
- Support compliance, regulatory, and tax-related documentation and filings.
- Work on agreements and documentation relating to HR, bootcamps, NDAs, IP assignment, privacy, financing, equity, SAFE notes, convertible notes, ESOPs, corporate structure, valuations, data rooms, and commercial contracts.
Eligibility
- LLB qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house role.
- Strong drafting and contract review skills.
- Understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, and basic tax/structuring concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and proactive work approach.
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or cross-border work is a plus.
