Details of the Job/Internship

Green Gem Energy is hiring an In-House Legal Associate to join their office in Coimbatore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct land due diligence, including title verification, encumbrance checks, and document tracing.
• Provide legal opinions on land ownership and acquisition risks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate land, vendor, EPC, and power consumer agreements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Advise internal teams on legal and operational matters.
• Coordinate with external advocates for registrations, litigation, and follow-ups.
• Track legal timelines, filings, and documentation status.
• Support litigation management through external counsel.

Eligibility

• Strong experience in contract drafting, documentation, and due diligence.
• Sound knowledge of land, commercial, and contract laws.
• Ability to independently handle land acquisition and verification.
• Fluency in Tamil and English.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
