Details of the Job/Internship
Gruve is hiring a Legal Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its legal team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, customer, and service-level agreements.
- Advise on corporate governance and ensure compliance with Indian laws.
- Support privacy compliance under the DPDP Act and GDPR.
- Guide HR on employment law, policies, and dispute resolution.
- Align local legal practices with U.S. and European counterparts.
- Provide legal support for U.S. operations.
- Track legal developments and manage associated risks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent from a recognized Indian university.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house, preferably in the tech or multinational sector.
- Proficient in Indian contract, corporate, and employment law.
- Familiarity with privacy laws (DPDP, GDPR).
- Exposure to U.S. or European legal systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
