Details of the Job/Internship
GV Law House is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Noida. The role involves end-to-end management of filing applications and petitions before the District Court of Gautam Buddh Nagar, UP-RERA and Appellate Authority, Delhi District Courts, Delhi High Court, NCLT/NCLAT New Delhi, Allahabad High Court, and the Supreme Court of India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing filing of applications and petitions before various courts and tribunals, including District Courts, High Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, and the Supreme Court of India.
- Coordinating with team members regarding preparation, filing, listing, and hearings of matters.
- Ensuring end-to-end coordination with in-house team members and clients.
- Attending matters with senior or arguing counsels before concerned courts and briefing them prior to hearings.
- Assisting arguing counsels in case preparation in coordination with the in-house team.
- Meeting clients, assisting in clarification of doubts, and supporting case preparation in consultation with in-house management and senior partners.
- Drafting and pleadings, court appearances, and legal research.
- Managing commutation and travelling requirements.
- Demonstrating good interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
Eligibility
- Law graduate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of Hindi.
- Good understanding and interpretation of law and legal provisions.
