Details of the Job/Internship
HealthKart is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct property due diligence for new retail outlets and warehouses.
- Draft, review, and negotiate lease deeds and licensing agreements.
- Obtain and renew licenses (Trade, Shop & Establishment, FSSAI).
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and handle inspections or notices.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and related regulations.
- Draft and vet commercial contracts (warehouse, logistics, vendor agreements, etc.).
- Provide legal advice and maintain compliance trackers.
- Coordinate with external counsel as needed.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree; specialization in corporate or commercial law preferred.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in retail or food regulatory/licensing is mandatory.
- Sound knowledge of FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and local laws.
