Details of the Job/Internship

Hexnode is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Legal team in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and SLAs.
• Assist with corporate governance activities including board meetings and statutory compliance.
• Support management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and copyrights.
• Assist in implementing data protection frameworks such as GDPR and India’s DPDP Act.
• Review data processing agreements and privacy-related documentation.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across India and global markets to ensure compliance.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised university.
• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal role.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate and contract law.
• Experience in the tech or SaaS industry is preferred.
• Exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters involving India and the US/EU is an advantage
