Details of the Job/Internship

Jawa Capital Services Private Limited is hiring a Legal Associate with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves preparing and handling various legal matters by coordinating with on-panel counsels, extensive drafting of contracts and petitions, preparation of briefing notes and LOD for briefing senior counsels, and conducting legal research. The position also requires effective communication, coordination, and direct collaboration with the Board.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle various legal matters by coordinating with on-panel counsels.
• Draft contracts and petitions.
• Prepare briefing notes and LOD for briefing senior counsels.
• Conduct legal research.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate directly with the Board.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed law college with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Expertise in Companies Act and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, especially in handling CIRP and preparation of Resolution Plans.
• Exposure to Criminal Law (White Collar Crimes) and Section 138 NI Act is an advantage.
• Exposure to real estate matters is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to address legal issues.
• Expertise in drafting.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Role involves more in-house work rather than litigating in courts.
• Remuneration as per industry standards.
