Details of the Job/Internship

JIITAK Inc. is hiring a Legal Associate – Corporate & Compliance with 2–7 years of experience to join their office in Kochi. The role involves handling corporate structuring, contracts, governance, and compliance matters while coordinating with management and external counsels to ensure adherence to Indian and international laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain board resolutions, company policies, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other corporate laws.
• Liaise with ROC, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in data governance and IT Act–related compliance.
• Draft and review vendor agreements, NDAs, and data protection documents.
• Coordinate with management and external counsel on legal and regulatory issues.
• Maintain accurate legal records, filings, and documentation.
• Identify risks and develop preventive legal strategies.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of Kerala preferred.
• 2–7 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, or cyber law.
• Knowledge of the Companies Act, IT Act, and digital compliance frameworks.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills in English and Malayalam.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.

Salary/Stipend
