Details of the Job/Internship
J.P. Associates is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of a minimum of 1 year to join their office in Gwalior.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the prosecution of trademarks, copyrights, and designs from filing to registration.
- Conduct extensive legal research using specialized platforms and databases.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, pleadings, and research memos.
- Assist in maintaining and managing IP portfolios for diverse clients.
- Utilize MS Word and MS Excel for case tracking and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure procedural compliance and timely filings.
- Represent the firm's standards of professionalism in all written and spoken communications.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Specialized interest and experience in Intellectual Property Rights.
- Strong proficiency in legal drafting and comprehensive research.
- Fluency in English and Hindi (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with legal research platforms and a high level of attention to detail.
