Jurycon incorporation is hiring a legal associate to join them in Pune office.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation and Case Analysis:
- Conduct initial client interviews to gather case details and provide legal advice.
- Analyze case facts and evidence to formulate legal strategies.
2. Legal Research and Documentation:
- Conduct in-depth research on relevant laws, judicial precedents, and case laws under statutes like the Hindu Marriage Act, Special Marriage Act, and Domestic Violence Act.
- Draft legal documents including petitions, affidavits, counter-claims, agreements, and notices.
3. Court Representation:
- Assist senior advocates in court appearances for family law matters.
- Independently represent clients in family courts, district courts, and other relevant forums as needed.
4. Negotiations and Settlements:
- Facilitate out-of-court settlements, mediation, and arbitration for matrimonial disputes.
- Represent clients during negotiation proceedings to ensure favorable outcomes.
5. Case Management:
- Maintain meticulous case files, ensuring all documentation is updated and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and external agencies for case preparation.
6. Client Relationship Management:
- Provide empathetic and solution-oriented support to clients dealing with sensitive family matters.
- Regularly update clients on case progress and developments.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; enrollment with a State Bar Council.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in family law or litigation (freshers with a strong academic record may also apply).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and pleadings.
- Strong understanding of Indian family laws, including but not limited to:
- Hindu Marriage Act, 1955
- Special Marriage Act, 1954
- Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005
- Guardian and Wards Act, 1890
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and emotionally charged matters professionally.
Salary/Stipend
