Details of the Job/Internship
Kar & Associates is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Bhubaneswar. The role involves preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, drafting case materials, and assisting with ongoing matters related to civil, matrimonial, criminal, and consumer law. The selected candidate will also liaise with clients, support senior advocates in court proceedings, and conduct case analysis to develop legal strategies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents and case materials.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Assist with ongoing matters in civil, matrimonial, criminal, and consumer law.
- Liaise with clients regarding legal matters.
- Support senior advocates in court proceedings.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required; LLM is preferred.
- Proficiency in law and handling diverse legal issues.
- Experience in legal document preparation and related work.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal casework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.
- Understanding of legal procedures and courtroom protocols.
- Prior experience in civil, matrimonial, criminal, or consumer cases is advantageous.
