Details of the Job/Internship

Kintech GreenUrja Private Limited is hiring a Junior Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the drafting, review, and vetting of EPC, supply, O&M, and subcontractor agreements.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial drafting through to execution and archival.
• Maintain a comprehensive and organized contract repository for all executed documents and amendments.
• Develop and manage a Key Date Compliance Tracker to monitor renewals, expirations, and performance milestones.
• Notify internal and external stakeholders in advance of upcoming contractual obligations and filings.
• Track updates in MNRE guidelines, PPA requirements, and other relevant sector regulations.
• Maintain an updated MIS for ongoing legal notices, claims, and dispute resolution matters.
• Liaise with project and finance teams to gather data for risk assessments and contractual reviews.
• Assist senior legal professionals in preparing settlement documentation and coordinating with external counsels.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in legal and contract management.
• Prior exposure to the Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or EPC sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in legal drafting and high comfort with Excel-based MIS tools.
• Meticulous attention to detail for managing compliance dates and identifying risks.
• Ability to handle multiple contract lifecycles simultaneously with organized workflows.
• Basic understanding of the legal landscape governing energy projects.
