Details of the Job/Internship

KPS Legal & Tax Consultants is hiring a Legal Associate for a full-time, on-site role at its Mumbai office. The role involves legal drafting, research, litigation support, client consultations, representation before courts and authorities, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, notices, contracts, and other documentation.
• Conduct legal research on relevant legal issues and regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare and assist in litigation matters and case management.
• Represent clients before courts and judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.
• Manage client consultations and provide legal advice.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in law and legal issues with strong knowledge of applicable regulations and legal practices.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal notices, contracts, and other legal documentation.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate legal information and provide accurate solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with Indirect Taxation, Banking and Finance, Debt Recovery, and related fields is advantageous.
