Details of the Job/Internship
Kridey Foundation Trust is hiring a Legal Associate to join their team in a full-time remote role. The position involves legal research, drafting, consultation, preparation of legal documents, analysis of complex legal issues, and participation in legal literacy campaigns and community outreach aligned with the organisation’s mission.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and drafting activities.
- Prepare legal documents and analyse complex legal issues.
- Provide legal advice consistent with organisational objectives.
- Participate in legal literacy campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members on matters relating to social justice, animal rights, and child welfare.
Eligibility
- Expertise in law and understanding of legal frameworks and practices.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation, drafting, review, and interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal issues and present solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for social justice, equity, and community engagement.
- Degree in law or related field required.
- Experience in advocacy, legal research, or working with NGOs is an advantage.
