Details of the Job/Internship
KS Legal is is hiring for the position of Legal Associate to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage civil and commercial litigation matters, including drafting, filing, and hearing procedures.
- Represent clients in Trial Courts, NCLT (IBC), and High Courts.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, pleadings, and case briefs.
- Stay updated on legal developments and draft analytical articles and critical legal analyses.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth functioning of the firm.
- Manage general administrative tasks and maintain accurate legal records.
Eligibility
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of expertise in civil and commercial litigation, NCLT (IBC), and arbitration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen interest in litigation with a desire to build a long-term career in the civil and commercial domain.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to author legal articles and critical analyses.
- Proficient in legal research and well-versed with legal databases and computer systems.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Pleasing personality and a strong team player.
