Details of the Job/Internship
KS Legal & Associates is hiring Legal Associate to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reading the appeal papers and deciding the papers required for preparation of the matter
- Regularly liasioning with the client team across location for preparation of the matter
- Preparing the strategy for litigating the case
- Briefing the issues involved in the appeal to the senior
- Preparing factual paper book after discussion with the seniors
- Carrying out legal research on various propositions and preparing legal paper book thereafter
- To assist the seniors in briefing the Partner / briefing certain small matters independently to the partner or the arguing counsel
- To take adjournments before the Tribunal on a regular basis Overseeing the work of Associate.
Eligibility
- Expertise in law and legal issues
- Experience in legal document preparation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong research capabilities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with legal databases and computer systems
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
- Master's degree in Law or related field is a plus
