Details of the Job/Internship
Kyrotics is hiring Legal Associates with experience of 1 to 2 years to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Proofread translated documents from English to Bengali to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in language, grammar, and style.
- Verify the legal accuracy of translated content, ensuring adherence to legal terminology, concepts, and principles.
- Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies in the translated text, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with translators and legal experts to resolve queries or concerns regarding translation and legal terminology.
- Conduct research on legal terminology and concepts as needed to ensure accurate translation and interpretation.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to translators and other team members to enhance the quality of translations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive legal documents and information.
Eligibility
- Must completed LLB or LLM with 1-2 years of work experiences.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali languages, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and principles, with the ability to accurately translate legal documents.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills to identify errors and inconsistencies in translated content.
- Proficiency in using computer software and tools for document editing and proofreading.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
