Details of the Job/Internship
Lexstone Group is hiring a full-time on-site Legal Associate for its Gurugram office. The candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on various corporate matters, including corporate transactions, structuring, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing legal documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to clients on various corporate and transactional matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Manage corporate transactions, structuring, and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient legal solutions.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited university.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Laws, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Companies Act, LLP Act, CrPC, IPC, Evidence Act, and Prevention of Corruption Act.
- Experience in transaction advisory, including structuring and drafting documents such as shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, business transfer agreements, collaboration agreements, development agreements, franchise agreements, master service agreements, and consortium agreements.
- Working knowledge of FEMA, including FDI, ODI, remittance schemes, ECBs, branch offices, export-import, foreign bank accounts, and compounding matters.
- Excellent drafting, legal writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in representing clients in court and other legal proceedings.
- CS/CA qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience in criminal litigation and white-collar investigations is a plus.
Salary/Stipend
