Details of the Job/Internship
Lily Thomas & Saju Jakob is hiring Legal Associates for its full-time practice to join its office in New Delhi. The firm is seeking dedicated advocates for litigation, corporate law, and arbitration or mediation work, with opportunities involving court appearances, drafting, research, and client engagement. Part-time engagements are not permitted.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support from drafting to court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, writ petitions, notices, and legal opinions.
- Appear before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, District Courts, and tribunals.
- Assist Senior Advocates in complex legal matters.
- Engage in client interaction, case management, and public interest advocacy.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university and enrolment with a Bar Council in India.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in SCC Online and Manupatra.
- High ethical and professional standards.
