Details of the Job/Internship

Max Law Firm is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Lucknow. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Legal Due Diligence for properties and collateral documents.
• Vet and review key legal documents such as Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds, Agreements, Revenue Records, and other title documents.
• Examine chain of title, ownership history, encumbrances, and verify compliance with applicable laws.
• Inspect and scrutinize original and certified copies of legal documents.
• Prepare Due Diligence Reports, legal notes, and opinions for internal teams or clients.
• Coordinate with external advocates, bank officials, and government authorities for document collection and clarifications.
• Identify potential legal risks and provide timely recommendations to safeguard organizational interests.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Assist with litigation-related documentation, notices, and case updates when required.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. preferred but not essential.
• 2–4 years of experience in Banks, NBFCs, or law firms handling property and document vetting.
• Strong command over property laws, stamp duty rules, registration procedures, and revenue records.
• Excellent drafting abilities, analytical aptitude, and document-review skills.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and identify inconsistencies.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Salary/Stipend
