Maxburn Private Limited is hiring a Legal Associate with 3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including commercial agreements, NDAs, service contracts, vendor agreements, and licensing arrangements.
- Handle legal compliances, licensing, and periodic filings.
- Ensure GST and ITR compliances and filing.
- Assist in maintaining company reports and records.
- Research and report on latest legal developments and industry nuances.
- Proofread and edit documents within prescribed timelines.
- Participate in meetings and outreach assignments as assigned.
- Multitask and meet deadlines.
- Provide legal advice on contract interpretation, obligations, and risks to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and business development, on contract-related matters.
- Liaise with government departments and third parties for project execution.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the legal field.
- Good communication and drafting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of GST and ITR.
- Well-versed in the corporate legal field.
- Knowledge in corporate finance will be an added advantage.
