Details of the Job/Internship
MCO Legals (Meharia & Company) is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth legal research on diverse litigation and arbitration matters.
- Execute high-quality drafting of legal pleadings, petitions, and applications.
- Manage and represent cases effectively within the litigation team.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients and stakeholders regarding case progress.
- Handle hands-on requirements for arbitration proceedings and court hearings.
- Ensure all legal documentation meets the firm’s rigorous quality standards.
Eligibility
- Must be a practicing advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of active litigation experience in a law firm is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in legal research and drafting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven hands-on experience in handling litigation and arbitration matters.
