Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 3-5 years to assist in handling litigation, contract management, and compliance-related matters within the hospital.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in handling all legal disputes, claims, and litigation involving the hospital.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all litigation cases and provide updates to hospital management and the corporate legal team.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, leases, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, hospital policies, and industry standards.
• Manage timely renewals, amendments, or terminations of contracts.
• Ensure contracts are documented and accessible in the centralized contract management system.
• Help develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support hospital management in addressing legal risks and opportunities.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including licensing, accreditation, and reporting.

Eligibility

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal professional.
• Experience in healthcare law is an advantage.
• Experience in litigation, contract management, and general corporate legal matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Salary/Stipend
