MetaLaw Offices is hiring Legal Associate with the experience of 4 to 6 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting memorandum and legal opinions on various legal issues including inter alia those pertaining to the legal and regulatory framework in the aforesaid sectors under FDI laws, validity of FLDG model, employment and labour laws, battery and PLI schemes and incentives for battery manufacturers, telecom licensing framework, and data protection privacy and intermediary guidelines among others.
- Drafting and vetting of of joint venture agreements, infrastructure and projects related documents / tender documents, RFQs/RFPs, concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various complex, non-standard commercial contracts, including but not limited to collaboration agreements, technology/IP licensing, business transfer agreements, revenue tie-in agreements, manufacturing and procurement agreements, sales and distribution agreements, marketing and consulting agreements, franchise agreements, SAAS, hardware, software, and service contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, sponsorship agreements, master subscription/service agreements.
Eligibility
- 4 to 6 years of experience at law firm in general corporate and commercial transactions, with special focus on general corporate advisory, technology transactions, regulatory compliance, foreign investment, TMT, IPR, business transfers, joint ventures, corporate structuring, securities law, insolvency & bankruptcy, among other related areas of law.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, workstreams and prioritise appropriately including the ability to work independently and as a team player to ensure timely delivery of work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage client interactions, strategic legal thinking and capable of arriving at practical legal solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research tools.
