Details of the Job/Internship

Metayb is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. The candidate will provide comprehensive legal support, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and safeguard the company’s interests.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Provide administrative support to senior legal staff, including organizing files and tracking deadlines.

Eligibility

• LLB from an accredited law school.
• 2–3 years of experience in a legal environment or similar role.
• Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in technology law or related fields preferred.
• Understanding of legal issues related to Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and other technology domains is an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
