Details of the Job/Internship
Novac Technology Solutions is hiring a Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, software license agreements, SaaS agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Provide legal support for business transactions, client engagements, and cross-functional operations.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, delivery, and compliance teams to manage contractual risks and close deals efficiently.
- Assist in contract lifecycle management and maintain the legal contract repository.
- Support due diligence, legal research, and regulatory compliance initiatives relevant to the IT and technology sector.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal department or law firm supporting IT or technology clients.
- Strong understanding of commercial laws, data privacy regulations, and IP-related contractual issues.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Exposure to international contracting in India, the US, or the UAE is preferred.
- Familiarity with Zoho Contracts or other CLM tools and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and team-oriented approach.
