Details of the Job/Internship
Neil Patel Digital India is hiring a Legal Associate to join their Mumbai office. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts while supporting cross-functional teams and managing legal risks across marketing functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, NDAs, IOs, SOWs, PSAs, DPAs, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure accuracy of deliverables, commercials, timelines, and legal terms.
- Collaborate with Finance to validate commercials and billing terms, align payment milestones, and support collections or escalations.
- Coordinate with Sales, Client Servicing, and Operations during contract closure.
- Identify risks related to SEO, Paid Media, Content, Analytics, and Influencer Marketing.
- Recommend protective clauses, limitations, indemnities, and IP safeguards.
- Maintain a structured repository of legal contracts and update templates, clause libraries, and approval workflows.
- Support audits, internal controls, and compliance reviews.
Eligibility
Background in Advertising, Digital Agency, Media, Publishing, or related fields is preferred.
