Details of the Job/Internship

NRB Industrial Bearings Limited is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently manage civil, criminal, MSME, small-court, and property-related matters.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, petitions, applications, notices, and agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research, prepare case notes, and analyze statutes, precedents, and relevant laws.
• Represent clients before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial authorities, and government bodies.
• Handle case preparation: evidence collection, client interviews, document review, and brief preparation.
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, arbitration proceedings, and negotiations.
• Maintain and update case files and documentation accurately.
• Provide legal opinions and guidance on compliance and regulatory issues.
• Coordinate with clients, government departments, law enforcement agencies, and regulators.
• Stay updated on amendments, policy changes, and developments in relevant legal areas.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council and valid license to practice.
• 1–2 years of experience in litigation or general legal practice.
• Strong research, drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.

Salary/Stipend
