Details of the Job/Internship

Nyati Group is hiring a senior legal professional with around ten years of experience in conveyancing practice or with a mid-scale real estate developer.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate deeds, agreements, and contracts including joint venture agreements, construction contracts, and purchase agreements.
• Handle title investigation, due diligence, and provide legal opinions on property matters.
• Ensure compliance with MOFA, RERA, land acquisition laws, and allied regulations.
• Review sanction plans, government demarcation, and revenue records.
• Scrutinise legal proposal files and conduct meetings with landowners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with panel advocates, landowners’ advocates, banks, and financial institutions for project loans and mortgage documentation.
• Finalise title reports in consultation with external and empanelled advocates.
• Draft legal notices, complaints, and show cause notices.
• Prepare agreements for sale, unit agreements, deeds of declaration, deeds of apartment, conveyance deeds, POAs, TDR agreements, NOCs, lease deeds, and leave and license agreements.
• Act as an in-house legal advisor and update management and departments on legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case law studies.
• Liaise with government authorities, including Sub-Registrar, JDR, and IGR offices, for registration of documents.
• Oversee legal department activities and report to the Head Legal and Management.
• Coordinate with society office bearers and managing committees on conveyance and title issues.
• Brief external advocates and legal consultants for court matters.

Eligibility

• Advocate with approximately ten years of experience in conveyancing or real estate legal practice.
• Experience with a mid-scale real estate developer is preferred.
• Age between 35 and 50 years.
• Excellent command of Marathi and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.

Salary/Stipend
