Oben Electric is an electric motorcycle start-up,founded in Aug 2020 by IIT & lIM alumni, and is headquartered in Bengaluru. It is an R&D-drivenorganization designing, developing, and manufacturing electric motorcycles in-house along with critical EV components. 

Details of the Job/Internship

Oben Electric is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1 to 3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on variousissues related to corporate law, intellectual property, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Support in managing corporate governance matters, including board meetings, corporate filings, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in handling legal disputes, claims, andlitigation matters, including coordinating withexternal counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, andindustry trends affecting the electric mobilitysector, providing proactive advice andrecommnendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentify legal risks and develop strategies tomitigate them effectively.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognizedinstitution.
• 1-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferablyin a corporate environment or law firm.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporatelaw, and intellectual property law.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills,with attention to detail.

Salary/Stipend
