Pirgal Consulting is hiring for the position of Legal Associate to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

Property Law

• Provide legal advisory and transactional support on property-related matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements, lease deeds, sale deeds, and title documents.
• Assist in resolving property disputes and represent clients in property-related litigation.

Income Tax Matters

• Conduct legal research and analysis on income tax laws, case laws, and compliance regulations.
• Draft responses, legal opinions, and appeal documents in relation to tax proceedings.
• Provide support in managing income tax litigation and liaise with tax authorities as required.

Litigation & Representation

• Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in matters relating to property and income tax laws.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and legal precedents.

Drafting & Legal Research

• Prepare a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and internal advisory functions.
• Ensure all documents meet professional standards of accuracy and compliance.

General Support & Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal input on cross-functional matters.
• Stay updated with the latest legal developments and regulatory changes.
• Support the legal team with miscellaneous tasks as required.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a recognized institution.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• Interest or experience in property law and income tax law is preferred.
• Strong drafting, research, and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Fresh graduates with a genuine interest in litigation and tax practice are encouraged to apply.

Salary/Stipend
