Details of the Job/Internship

Pirgal Consulting is hiring a Legal Associate (Litigation & Compliance) with experience of minimum 1 year to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the GST Department for submissions, assessments, and follow-ups.
• Handle tasks at the Income Tax Department, including filings, document submissions, and status tracking.
• Liaise with government officials to ensure timely resolution of matters.
• Attend court visits across civil, criminal courts, and tribunals.
• Assist in filings, obtaining certified copies, and case follow-ups.
• Support senior counsel with case preparation, documentation, and research.
• Draft legal documents including notices, replies, agreements, petitions, affidavits, and applications.
• Review documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, GST, and Income Tax regulations.
• Prepare case summaries, briefs, and legal opinions.
• Coordinate with clients for document collection and updates.
• Maintain legal records, trackers, and hearing schedules.
• Support statutory compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams for legal support.
• Stay updated with legal and regulatory changes.
• Handle tasks assigned by senior management.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with Bar Council enrollment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in litigation or compliance.
• Knowledge of court procedures, GST, and Income Tax.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage field work and deadlines efficiently.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and responsible.

Salary/Stipend
