Details of the Job/Internship

Pirgal Consulting is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1+ year to join their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle work related to the Income Tax Department, including filings, document submissions, and representation support.
• Liaise with government अधिकारियों to ensure timely resolution of matters.
• Conduct court visits for filings, certified copies, hearings, and case follow-ups.
• Assist senior counsel with case preparation, evidence compilation, and legal research.
• Draft and review legal notices, replies, agreements, petitions, affidavits, and applications.
• Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, circulars, and notifications.
• Prepare case briefs, summaries, and legal opinions under supervision.
• Coordinate with clients for documentation, clarifications, and updates.
• Maintain legal records, trackers, and hearing schedules.
• Support statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and perform additional legal duties as assigned.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with Bar Council enrollment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in litigation, compliance, or departmental legal work.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures, GST, and Income Tax processes.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage field visits and meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Salary/Stipend
