Details of the Job/Internship
Pixis is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 0 to 2 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Conduct legal research and provide insights on regulatory compliance related to AI, data privacy, intellectual property, and technology laws.
- Support preparing and maintaining legal documentation, including corporate governance records and intellectual property filings.
- Monitor and analyze updates in laws and regulations that may impact the company’s operations or products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and provide strategic advice on risk mitigation.
- Responding to legal queries, audits, and dispute resolutions as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); additional certifications in IP law or technology law are a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in technology, AI, or SaaS sectors (internships will be considered).
- Strong understanding of contract law, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and intellectual property rights.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn about emerging legal challenges in AI and tech industries.
