Details of the Job/Internship
Join there dynamic team at PLS Solicitors in Gurugram, where they're seeking a Legal Associate to contribute to there esteemed legal practice. With a focus on conveyancing and property law, there firm is renowned for excellence in handling a wide range of transactions, including new build homes, Help to Buy, shared ownership, re-mortgage, and more.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out due diligence on Residential property and New Build Development in England and Wales
- Responsible for Reviewing the Draft Contract pack received from the Seller’s Solicitors and carrying out the Title check
- Raising Enquiries on the Contract pack and Title Register received from the Seller’s Solicitors and identifying defects in title and requesting for further information on the title
- Reviewing and raising Enquiries on the searches carried out on the property
- Reporting to client on the Title and searches
- Drafting of Legal conveyancing documents
- Reviewing and responding to replies received on the enquiries on titles ad searches
- Liaising with UK Conveyancing Team Managers on Residential and New Build properties
- Dealing with Requisitions on the Title received from the Land Registry and responding to the same
- Working through and updating the Case Management System.
- Other associated legal and admin tasks
