Details of the Job/Internship
PRARISH Legal is inviting applications for the position of Associate for candidates with 0–2 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients and appear regularly before the Madras High Court, District Courts, and various Tribunals in Chennai.
- Conduct in-depth research and handle drafting for civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Assist in matters related to Insolvency, Recovery, and Company Law.
- Provide legal support for Real Estate and Property Law cases.
- Contribute to transactional and advisory work as required by the practice.
- Engage directly in case strategy development and preparation for hearings.
- Manage deadlines effectively while working both independently and within a team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with 0–2 years of PQE.
- Applicants must be currently based in Chennai.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in English is required; a working knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated willingness to take ownership of work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
