Details of the Job/Internship
Pravadati Legal is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
Labour & Employment Disputes
- Assist in managing employment-related litigation before labour courts, tribunals, and other forums.
- Draft, review, and respond to employee complaints, pleadings, and legal notices.
- Support internal investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to align legal strategy with organizational goals.
Contract Review & Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, consultancy contracts, and employment contracts.
- Maintain and update the contract repository, ensuring compliance, timely renewals, and version control.
- Work closely with business teams to ensure contracts meet legal standards and operational requirements.
Compliance & Advisory
- Provide day-to-day advisory on labour laws, including the Shops & Establishments Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and POSH Act.
- Monitor and track statutory compliance obligations and regulatory updates.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and implementing internal HR, compliance, and governance policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred but not mandatory.
- 2–4 years PQE with strong experience in labour & employment law, contract drafting, and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws and commercial contracts.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with employee grievance handling, investigations, or compliance advisory will be an advantage.
