Details of the Job/Internship
Praxous De Legal is hiring a Legal Associate with relevant experience to support litigation and advisory work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Investigate case facts and gather relevant information.
- Identify applicable laws, legal articles, and judicial precedents.
- Organise, analyse, and compile legal information and evidence.
- Draft legal arguments, motions, pleadings, and written statements.
- Prepare affidavits and collect exhibits.
- Assist attorneys during trials and court proceedings.
- Maintain and track case files and legal records.
- Draft agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Manage office staff and delegate responsibilities.
- Maintain financial records, track billable hours, and handle client billing.
- Conduct legal database searches and research.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of legal research and drafting.
- Experience in litigation and case management.
- Ability to analyse legal issues and prepare documentation.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently.
