Details of the Job/Internship
Primus Corporate is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Associate with 1 year of experience to join them at their office in Ernakulam.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Legal Associate will play a key role in supporting the legal and compliance functions of the firm.
- Responsibilities include managing legal and regulatory compliance, assessing and mitigating legal risks, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting thorough legal research, providing timely legal advice to the organisation, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across all legal and operational areas.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or completed Company Secretary (CS) Executive or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, corporate regulations, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex legal matters and offer clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
