Details of the Job/Internship

Priyanka Chaudhari & Associates is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 4 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai or Hybrid Mode.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for litigation (civil and criminal), pre-litigation, transaction related workfor all Practise Areas of PCA legal, including Media and Entertainment, Corporate Commercial,Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisition, Music,Technology law, Family Law, Insurance Law etc.
• Undertake chain of title and rights due diligence work as and when required.
• Work with the teams on any legal clearance for content or scripts as required.
• Create, maintain and timely update trackers & innovative tools for the work done for various clients.
• Work with client's teams for stamp duty calculations and payments, title clearances and wordmark/logo registration.
• Research and knowledge sharing on new and interesting developments in the legal professionand industries like Media and Entertainment industry, real estate laws, handling, banking laws,corporate commercial laws etc.

Eligibility

• Anybody with prior work experience (PQE) in the Indian Media and Entertainment industry, real estate, handling, managing and executing litigation matters, intellectual property laws,banking laws, corporate laws, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act and Constitution of India etc. who would be able to undertake the above job responsibilities canapply for this role.
• They would prefer someone with 4-5 years of workexperience (PQE), but they respect and applaud merits so the number of years on paper may be lesser if your knowledge speaks for itself.
• You have experience in the day to day working,commerce and business arrangements of the Indian film and media industry, real estate etc andare also willing to work on.
