Details of the Job/Internship

PropLegit is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–2 years to join their office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare title opinion and title certificate reports after conducting comprehensive land record investigations and title searches.
• Verify the legal status of mortgaged land or properties and review ownership chains for specified years.
• Review and validate system-generated legal opinion and title clear reports for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and address queries.
• Provide support in managing legal and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in building an in-house legal team to ensure quality assurance for reports provided to BFSI clients.
• Conduct legal research and help mitigate risks in property transactions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized government university.
• 1–2 years of experience in land or property law, title searches, legal opinions, and title certifications.
• Enrolment with the State or National Bar Council with a valid license to practice law and a valid Digital Signature.
• Basic understanding of property laws, land registration procedures, and real estate transactions.
• Experience working with banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions as an empaneled lawyer will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in Gujarati and English, both written and verbal.

Salary/Stipend
