Details of the Job/Internship
PropLegit is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join its office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare title opinion and title certificate reports after conducting land record investigations.
- Verify ownership chains and legal status of mortgaged properties.
- Review and validate system-generated legal opinion and title reports.
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and stakeholders for documentation and query resolution.
- Assist in building and supporting the in-house legal team for quality assurance.
- Stay updated on property laws, land registration procedures, and real estate regulations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized government university.
- Enrolment with the State or National Bar Council with a valid license to practice.
- 1–2 years of experience in property law, title searches, and legal opinions.
- Experience working with banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of property laws, land registration, and real estate transactions.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and documentation.
- Fluency in Gujarati and English, both written and verbal.
