Details of the Job/Internship
PropLegit is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare title opinions and title certificates after conducting land record investigations.
- Verify ownership chains and legal status of properties.
- Review and validate system-generated legal reports for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and stakeholders to gather required information.
- Assist in building an in-house legal team for report quality assurance.
- Stay updated on property laws, land registration procedures, and regulations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
- Enrolment with Bar Council and valid licence to practise law with a digital signature.
- 1–2 years of experience in property law, title searches, and legal opinions.
- Experience with banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions preferred.
- Strong knowledge of property laws and real estate transactions.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and documentation.
- Fluency in Gujarati and English.
