Details of the Job/Internship

Rest The Case is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Pune District, Maharashtra, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and customize diverse legal documents, including NDAs, Service Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
• Prepare employment-related documentation such as offer letters, employment contracts, and HR policies.
• Convert specific client requirements into accurate and practical commercial or operational agreements.
• Ensure quick turnaround times for all drafting assignments while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Collaborate with internal sales, operations, and account management teams to clarify client needs and briefs.
• Revise and iterate legal documents based on direct client feedback.
• Maintain consistency and standardization across all document templates and clause libraries.
• Manage a high volume of simultaneous drafting assignments with a strong sense of ownership.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree (Mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience in legal drafting within a law firm, in-house, or freelance environment.
• At least 1+ years of specific work experience with drafting agreements.
• Proven expertise in document drafting and structuring legal language.
• Strong written communication skills with a focus on simple, precise, and practical drafting.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a startup, SME, or high-volume drafting environment.
• Preferred: Familiarity with legal tech or AI-based drafting tools.
