Details of the Job/Internship
Rising Events is hiring a Legal Associate with 1+ years of experience to join its office at Andheri (West), Mumbai. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support, coordinating with external lawyers, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing court-related documentation, conducting legal research, and supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external lawyers and act as the primary point of contact.
- Draft, review, and finalise legal documents including MOUs, contracts, affidavits, powers of attorney, and agreements.
- Provide general legal assistance, including drafting replies to legal notices and preparing legal opinions.
- Draft, review, and file court documents such as plaints, written statements, notices of motion, appeals, and affidavits.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts including development and licence agreements.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and advisory work.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and monitor regulatory changes.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or an equivalent legal qualification from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in the events or media industry.
