Details of the Job/Internship
rProcess is hiring a Junior Corporate Counsel with 2–3 years of experience to join their office in Mysuru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and customer contracts.
- Support corporate governance activities such as board and committee matters, resolutions, and corporate filings.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on corporate, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Maintain corporate records and entity management documentation.
- Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives and internal policy development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, operations, and compliance teams.
- Support transactions, due diligence, and special legal projects.
- Manage outside counsel for specific matters when required.
Eligibility
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Eligibility to practise law in Mysuru, with Bar Council membership.
- 2–3 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate law fundamentals and contract principles.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and Kannada preferred.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
